The collection consists of research notes, family history information, and correspondence collected by Evelyn Scheuerman Reich and published in collaboration with Richard D. Biographical Note

Evelyn Scheuerman Reich (1920-2009) was born in Endicott, Washington, one of six children born to Karl and Mary Elizabeth (Litzenberger) Scheuerman. Her paternal grandfather, Henry Scheuerman, emigrated from Yagadnaya Polyana in Russia to Kansas in 1888, then on to Washington three years later. Evelyn was a dedicated family historian, conducting extensive research and correspondence to document numerous Volga German family lines. Much of her work was done in collaboration with family members William L. Scheirman and Richard D. Scheureman and eventually published as The Berry Meadow Archive: A Selection from the Records and Resources of Richard Scheuereman and Evelyn Reich....
