Biographical note
The Rev. George Reule was born in Romania 24 November 1902 and came to Cottage Grove, Oregon, with his parents in 1906. In 1926 he graduated Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. In August of 1926 he became Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, Oregon, a congregation he served until he retired in 1967. Subsequently he served several congregations as an interim pastor. He served as editor of the District Supplement to the Lutheran Witness (1937-1939), on the District Board of Finance (1936-1939), and in various other capacities in the District and in The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. He married Florence Sahnow in August, 1928. He died 18 October 1992.
