The records of the Northwest District's participation in the Christian Witness in Century 21 event of the Seattle World's Fair in 1962.

Historical note

The Century 21 Exposition, otherwise known as the Seattle World's Fair, began a six-month run in the summer of 1962. Science was the theme and the Space Needle was the most memorable icon. The Exposition included in the Christian pavilion an event sponsored by the Greater Seattle Council of Churches called the "Christian Witness in Century 21." Since the Northwest District had congregations in the greater Seattle area, the District decided to participate in the program. Missouri Synod Week was August 20-26, 1962.
