Recruitment Documents
Scope and Contents
The records reflect the situation where one person was in charge of public relations, recruitment, development, admissions, and even student activities. Hence the files chronicle recruitment activities around the Northwest, applications received, enrollment statistics, position papers, choir and other musical activities, correspondence, news releases, and public relations mailings. The need to convince a synodical convention to approve the move to four-year status produced a slide presentation about Concordia. Scheduling and promoting the choir tours became a public relations responsibility; choir students kept a scrapbook each year to document their experience.
